My Gull Island paintings are celebrations of the places we've shared with loved ones.
Caddy Park is forever connected in my mind to my grandparents who lived their whole lives in Wollaston. Long walks to the park and along Quincy Bay fed my love for the New England coast, and as I grew up, I’d often go there to sketch and paint.
Turns out Caddy Park used to be called Gull Island. So this collection of paintings is a celebration of this special place, reimagined in joyful shades of coral, lavender, purple, and red - my grandmom’s favorite color.
